HappyHits Radio uses an AAC+ encoded stream to deliever high quality music at lower bandwidths. You can use any AAC+ enabled player to tune into HHR.

If you have listened to our station before, go to the Play Link for your player. If this is your first time with us, you will probably need to download a small file which will enable our music to be played on your computer. You can choose any media player you have on your computer. In the DETAILS area of THIS page, find the download link for the player you want to use. You will be taken to the download page. Download this file. When your download is finished, install it and come back HERE, to the How to Listen page and click on the Play Link for the media player you will be using and viola! HappyHits Radio is on your computer!

Notes for Mac Users

If you have iTunes installed, it will attempt to play the stream but it cannot. You will need to download and install another player (VLC is recommed above) and then download the playlist file listed above for VLC and open it with VLC. Step by step instructions:

  1. Download VLC from above and install it. Instructions are available here.
  2. Download the player file by right clicking the "Play Link" or holding the Apple Key/Command Key and clicking the link and selecting the "Download" or "Save" option (depending on your web browser).
  3. Run VLC and click on the File menu and select Open.
  4. Browse to the location where you downloaded the radio file and select it.
  5. You should now be listening to HHR! You can use the same file to tune in in the future, no need to redownload.
